Creating a photograph is like a journey; the final print - the destination. I love the journey as much as the destination. You don't just capture a scene, you capture a feeling. There no right or wrong way - only the final result matters. Sometimes the most interesting captures occur when you last expect it. Other times, you think you've got something extraordinary, but the picture turns out into a boring and ordinary image. The magic is out there and we have to learn how to see it. If I wasn't... If I wasn't a photographer, I'd still be a traveler. Human vision can only detect individual moments. Photographing with different exposures, we are able to capture a series of moments on a single shot - the movement will blur or freeze, clouds can streak, stars trace their arcs and falling rain creates a unique atmosphere. The resulting photograph has more of an elastic feeling, as if time were stretched and then snapped back into a single instant.
